Gail Calhoun, Founder/Consulting - Gail is a licensed title insurance agent for the state of Florida with over 30 years of experience in the title insurance industry. She is a Plant City native, and possesses a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the local real estate market. Gail founded Hillsborough Title, Inc. in 1984 and today heads up our “closing team” as well as general office management.

Chrissy Boatwright, Manager/Closer – Chrissy was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. Chrissy has been in the title industry since 2000, and works as an office manager and licensed title agent. Chrissy married her high school sweetheart, and together they share a son. When not diligently working, she can often be found at the beach or outdoors spending time with her beloved family.

Tamara Smith, Processor - Tamara is a native of Plant City, and was the first employee of Hillsborough Title Inc. when it was founded in 1984. Tamara left Hillsborough Title to venture into other endeavors and recently re-joined our Team. Her duties include processing new orders, handling initial contacts and gathering pertinent information for closings, short sales, etc. Like all the other employees of Hillsborough Title, her main goal is to assist our clients and work as a team.

Michele Williams, Closer - Michele was born and raised in Tampa and has lived in Plant City for 10 years. Michele has been in the Mortgage/Title Industry for 13 years. For the past five years she has worked mostly in the Brandon area, and is happy to be back home in Plant City. She considers herself a “people person” and treats all of her clients like family. Michele is happily married to her husband, Tim and is the proud mother of her twins, Austin and Taylor!

Amy Cox, Closing Processor - Amy was born in Tampa, and has lived in the bay area her whole life. Amy is married and has 3 children- 2 daughters and a son. She has worked in the title industry for over 10 years, where she has done both processing and post closing. Amy loves being outdoors and cherishes time spent with her family.

Alli Bedard, Closer - Alli was born in New Jersey, but has resided in the Bay Area for the majority of her life. She has worked in the title business for over seven years; prior to which she spent seven years on the lender/broker side of the business, where she began as an office assistant temp and worked her way up the ranks. Alli has the dedication and tenacity to be regarded as a well-rounded professional. When not diligently at work, Alli can be found playing with her recently acquired rescue pup, Sophie, or taking part in some of her favorite pastimes: reading, cooking/baking, photography and writing.

Veronica Rivera, Closer– Veronica is a true Florida native, born in Wauchula, she now resides in Dover. Her experience in Title dates back more than 8 years; she has worked as a closer, and has also spent time working in foreclosures. She is thrilled to join the Hillsborough Title family as a processor for the Plant City office. Outside of work, Veronica can be found with her 4 wonderful boys, often times at the park or lake.

Jerri Connell, Closer- Hailing from the Lakeland area, Jerri is a native of the Sunshine State.  Getting her start in the real estate business in 2001 as a paralegal, Jerri realized how much she enjoyed the Title Insurance side of the business. So much so in fact, she has worked throughout Tampa and Brandon doing everything from supervising to managing to closing, which happens to be her favorite aspect of the job.  She has also obtained her Mortgage Broker License and Title Insurance License in the process.  While she loves her job, being a mother to her 14 year old son Garrett and 5 year old daughter MacKenzie is the light of her life.  They love to go fishing and be on the beach, anything that has to do with being active and outdoors!  She is a strong believer in living and eating healthy, and we are very excited to welcome her to our team!

Katelyn Rieck, Junior Processor – Katelyn was born in Iowa but raised in Tampa Florida, where she graduated from Mulberry Senior High School. This is her first position in title but her great attitude and work ethic ensures that she will go far! Katelyn looks forward to growing her career at Hillsborough Title. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family.

Shay Fetterhoff, Processor – Shay is a native of the Brandon area. She is married with twin boys, and enjoys fishing and baseball with her kids. With a previous background in banking, Shay has a lot of experience to bring to the Hillsborough Title team! 

Emely Gutierrez, Receptionist – Emely is a Florida native, born and raised in Plant City. This is her first position with a title agency, and she looks forward to gaining new experiences and growing within the company. She currently attends school for Business Management and enjoys spending her free time with her five-year-old son.
